Foil Insulation Tape
Foil insulation tape is a single sided reinforced adhesive used on Polyair products to provide moisture, vapour and draft barriers in overlaps, joints and cut outs.
Foil insulation tape is available in 72mm widths and is made from aluminium foil, polyethylene fibre mesh and a polyethylene film which has a pressure sensitive adhesive system featuring high holding power and flame retardant additives.
The tape can be applied to insulation systems which operate below or above ambient temperatures providing a strong, neat, sealed finish to the overall insulation system.

Thermal Tape
Thermal tape is made from polyethylene foam with double sided adhesive. Thermal tape is used on steel frames in conjunction with Polyair Super and Polyair One to achieve a thermal break between metal framing and metal claddings.
The thermal tape is 5mm thick and is available in 24mm widths. The tape is applied directly to the metal frame, the second adhesive side faces out and the Polyair is placed over the tape, the tape holds the Polyair in place while metal cladding is fixed over the Polyair, the thermal tape in conjunction with Polyair achieves the required Building Code of Australia thermal break of 0.2m²K/W.

Insulation Spacers
Insulation spacers have been designed to provide separation between Polyair products and other building materials. The spacers are commonly used in brick cavity construction and cladded wall systems offsetting the Polyair from surrounding materials and creating reflective cavities for high thermal resistance.
Insulation spacers are made from polyethylene foam with options of a centralised brick tie cut or a double sided adhesive tape. The insulation spacers are round and are available in 25mm and 15mm thicknesses.

Cap Staple System - air driven
The air-driven cap staple system is used to provide quick, easy and cost effective installation of Polyair products on timber frames, battens, rafters and ceiling joists.
The air-driven cap stapler is incredibly fast, driving 5 cap staples per second. Each cap staple offers superior holding power, so you can use up to 80% fewer fasteners over traditional staples. The innovative cap system is fast and produces professional results, stronger hold, and moisture protection.

Cap Staple System - manual
The manual cap staple system is used to provide quick, easy and cost effective installation of Polyair products on timber frames, battens, rafters and ceiling joists.
The manual cap stapler allows the holding power of a cap with the speed and ease of a hammer-tacker. The ergonomic design makes the manual cap staple system highly manoeuvrable so you can get into the tightest corners, and because its light weight, you can work comfortably all day.
